Jack and Jill Nursery School, a family-style early childhood education center in York, PA, is looking for a full-time Infant Room Teacher and a flexible Floater to support our Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classrooms.

Positions Available:

Infant Room Teacher, Toddler Teacher, Floater, Preschool Assistant

 Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide attentive, nurturing care to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
  • Create a safe, clean, and engaging environment for play and learning.
  • Clean and sanitize toys, surfaces, and classroom equipment daily.
  • Assist with diapering, feeding, nap supervision, and potty training (as age-appropriate)
  • Help prepare and serve lunch and snacks.
  • Communicate positively with children, families, and coworkers.
  • Support classroom routines and help lead activities as needed.
  • Follow all licensing and center policies to ensure child safety and well-being.

 Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A love for working with children and helping them grow.
  • Previous experience in childcare (preferred but not required).
  • Willingness to obtain or currently hold a CDA or Early Childhood Education degree (we help you get there!).
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a positive team attitude.
  • Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.

 Schedule:

  • Full-time hours, Monday–Friday - We are open 6:00-5:30pm. Scheduling times may vary.
